"To create objects that are functional while creating joy with their beauty", words of Stig Lindberg - ceramist, industrial designer, and illustrator.

Another classic piece from Stig Lindberg's collection featuring his distinct humor, playfulness, and functional design. This collection is a relaunch of a work first produced in 1959. The handmade dot pattern detailed in the collection is one of Stig Lindberg's famous design characteristics, focusing on the beauty of being natural, raw and imperfect. Eva has a partner, the "Adam" collection. Their patterns are reverse print of each other in blue on white.

Achieving fame for his eccentric form and whimsical decor, this Swedish designer's work has been in the heart of every modern home, bringing sunshine and delight to generations. He studied painting in Sweden's famous Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design and has garnered several gold medals in numerous international design festivals during his time. Named as art director of Gustavsbergs Porslin Factory in 1937, his work has earned him the name "Fantasy Man".

This plate is masterfully crafted by Gustavsbergs Porslin Factory. Founded in 1825, it is Sweden's last remaining porcelain factory.

Founded in Sweden, the only Nordic country with such a tradition since the 1800's, Gustavsberg's specialty is crafting bone china. With its rich history and mastery of the skill, it has produced great novelties of genuine bone china. The porcelain factory is one of the first in Europe to learn the delicate art of producing bone china and is still one of the very few manufacturers of porcelain white gold.
