Simple, elegant and vibrantly festive, this Julpaketet (Swedish for holiday package) bowl brings joy in our table for all season.
One of Margareta Hennix's beautiful designs, this is the perfect ware to serve your guests the delicious and appetizing dishes during celebrations. Having finished her studies at the Art Academy in Stockholm, Margareta counts Stig Lindberg as a teacher and has designed several wonderful pieces over the years.
This bowl is masterfully crafted by Gustavsbergs Porslin Factory. Founded in 1825 in Sweden (the only Nordic country with such a tradition since the 1800's), it is the country's last remaining porcelain factory.
Gustavsberg's specialty is bone china. With its rich history and mastery of the craft, it has produced great novelties of genuine bone china. The porcelain factory is one of the first in Europe to learn the delicate art of producing bone china and is still one of the very few manufacturers of porcelain white gold.
